About me

Hi! I’m Jackie. I’m a User Experience Designer and photographer living in the Hudson Valley of NY. I currently work as a Senior UX Designer at AppFolio. I’m passionate about user-centered product design, accessibility, and designing usable experiences for complex applications. I’ve worked in tech and design for over a decade, across marketing and visual design, product, user research, and UX.

I’ve been captivated by photography since I was 10 years old, when my father taught me how to use a 35mm film camera. Lately I shoot with whatever I have on hand, whether it’s a film camera, mirrorless, or iPhone. My photography has been shown at Create Council for the Arts Gallery in Catskill, NY; Center for Photography at Woodstock in Kingston, NY; and in ArtAscent and F-Stop Magazine. I’m also a regular contributor of Creative Commons stock photography at Unsplash.com, where my photographs have been downloaded over 81,000 times. You can also find me on Instagram.
